If you are the owner of a modern heat transfer device called a heat management system (HMS), you will appreciate the aluminum foil, which acts as an intermediary between the coals and the tobacco. Simply stretch the foil over the top of the prepared bowl, connoisseurs will pierce the foil with an impressionistic image, while others will simply create holes as openings for the warm air to flow through, and then just place the properly heated coals on top of the foil for the tobacco to begin to heat up.
