Product description Chinese White Tea Shou mei - Longevity Eyebrow 50 g
Shou Mei - Long Age Branch - this is the basic variety of Chinese white tea grown in Fujian Province, low in tein. The name Shou mei can be translated as Old Man's Eyebrows. The coarser, downy grey-green leaves are harvested while still immature from spring. In the past, this tea, full of natural antioxidants, was only supplied to the Imperial Court. It was most popular during the Song Dynasty (960-1279 AD). The infusion is pale yellow in colour and delicate in taste.
Recommended preparation of tea in a 0.6L teapot: minutes, during taste and, depending on your preference, let it infuse longer or strain
