Product description Herbal Tea Mate Mint 50 g
A blend of green mate and Moroccan mint nana. A fresh drink with beneficial effects on human health and a positive stimulating and refreshing effect. Green maté, a typical drink of the Paraguayan Indians, is valued especially for its strong, long-lasting stimulating effects. It is sipped from a special Kalabasa container using a Bombilla tube.
Recommended preparation of 0.5 litres of tea:
First infusion - pour 10-40 g of tea into a Kalabasa with approximately 80°C boiled water.
Second infusion - pour about 85°C boiled water into a calabash.
Mate - crushed leaves of the Paraguayan holly, which grows in South American countries. Because maté does not contain the leaves of the tea plant, this drink does not need to be strained after pouring - in fact, it does not become bitter as the pouring time increases. It is commonly recommended to pour 80°C water over maté, but it is also possible to pour cold water over it (with the proviso that it is left to stand longer in the fridge - ice maté), and the drink is topped up as needed, as long as it tastes good.
