Green rooibos is a drink of delicious taste. It has a fresh sweet taste. It is a so called "false tea". It does not contain tea leaves. It is made from the leaves of the Aspalathus Linearis plant, which are very finely crushed and either oxidised (red rooibos is produced) or simply dried to produce green rooibos. It can be drunk sweetened.

Recommended preparation of tea in a 0.6L teapot:

• Pour 1 - 1.5 tablespoons of tea into the teapot, so that the bottom is roughly covered
• Pour boiled water at 90°C
• let it infuse for at least 5 minutes to 10 minutes depending on your taste

 Note on preparation: the times given are approximate and it is good, for example, to pour off a little tea after a certain time of infusion, taste it and, if necessary, strain the whole infusion or let it continue to infuse. The tea should be to your liking, and if you prefer stronger teas, for example, use more leaves or extend the steeping time.
