Product description Japa Mala Bracelet Hamsa 08 mm Brown
A delicate bracelet handcrafted on the exotic island of Bali, made of the sacred Rudraksha seeds - natural beads, adorned with a metal pendant form of Hamsa. Rudraksha is a popular material for making traditional Buddhist praying beads, called Japa Mala (Thengwa). Now you can keep these magical beads with you at all times in the form of this elegant bracelet.
Rudraksha is the dried woody seed of the sacred Elaeocarpus granitus tree, tied to a legend of the god Shiva. According to the tale, the god Shiva decided to meditate on humanity for a thousand years. At the end of his meditation, he was so filled with divine compassion that he began to weep. Wherever his tears fell, trees grew, and their fruits were named "God's Tears" – Rudraksha.
The fruits of Rudraksha enhance mental resilience, calm the mind, help against stress, and act as a powerful protection against negative energy. It is believed that the god Shiva sent these fruits to earth to benefit all who seek liberation and guidance on the path to enlightenment.
Caring for Rudraksha
Since Rudraksha absorbs the energy of its wearer, it should not be touched by others.
It is recommended to occasionally cleanse the Rudraksha with lukewarm water, gently scrub it with a soft brush, and allow it to dry naturally. You can then treat the seeds by applying a small amount of oil, ideally coconut or almond oil. Avoid contact with chemical detergents.
Pendant
Hamsa – or also "Hand of Fatima", is a sacred symbol of blessing, providence, femininity, and protection, especially from bewitchment. It is considered to be a very effective talisman against all evil and misfortune.
Combining a natural material for centuries attributed to magical powers and a powerful protective symbol gives you a truly extraordinary amulet that will accompany you every day. The bracelet can be worn alone or in combination with other bracelets. Its inner circumference is approximately 16–18 cm.
