Product description Japanese Green Tea Matcha Kumo No Shiro 30 g
Matcha Kumo no shiro is a unique powdered green tea with a thick foam and rich mellow flavor. It is the ideal matcha for making Usucha (fine matcha) made from the finest quality Tencha, Gyokuro grade. Light green colour, fresh taste and excellent aroma. Matcha Kumo no shiro is a high quality matcha, bright green in colour, made from tea leaves - tips that have grown under careful supervision under moderate diffused sunlight. After 20-30 days, the leaves were harvested, steamed and dried, and after drying, they were crushed in a traditional stone mortar (Hikiusu) into a fine tea powder. Unlike traditional teas, where only the infusion is drunk, Matcha is consumed whole, so only the finest tea leaves are used for its production.
Recommended preparation of 0.15 litres of tea:
Thin (ceremonial) 10g, thin 5g.
Preheat the matcha bowl with hot water and wipe dry with a napkin.
Place the tea in the bowl.
Pour the 80°C boiled water over the top.
Slowly stir the lumps at the bottom with a moistened whisk (chasen).
After the lumps at the bottom are stirred, whisk quickly and smoothly.
Once the tea is lump-free and there is foam on the surface, it is ready to serve.
