Tingshas

Kartals or also Tingsha bells are an ancient musical instrument made of metal alloy. Due to their composition, they have the same harmonising, purifying, relaxing and healing effects as the Tibetan bowl and bell.

The kartals are shaped like a combination of small cymbals and a bell, which are connected by a leather strap or string. They are mainly used for meditation and to induce a spiritual atmosphere. Shengas have similar characteristics, only they are separate.
